Autopatrolled granted
[edit]Hi Htanaungg, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:19, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

Rollback granted
[edit]Hi Htanaungg. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
For some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 12:46, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
Hello, ToBeFree. This is not concerned with the use of rollback. But I'd like to know if I was eligible for pending changes reviewer rights. TIA. Htanaungg (talk) 08:43, 16 August 2021 (UTC) Sure. :)Pending changes review granted
[edit]Hi Htanaungg,
Your account has been added to the group of pending changes reviewers, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes protection. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
As with all permissions, being granted reviewer rights neither grants special status nor changes how a user can edit articles.
~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:26, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
New page reviewer granted
[edit]Hi Htanaungg. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers" user group. Please check back at WP:PERM in case your user right is time limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
- Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
- If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
- Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. signed, Rosguill talk 02:34, 29 August 2021 (UTC)

The article Myedu Princess has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Originally tagged for CSD on grounds of being non-notable. I untagged it and using PROD instead.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. User: Screwfixed Read! Pali knowledge help
[edit]Hello @Htanaungg, I’m really happy to see you active again. I have missed you for so long. I hope you are doing well. As you are a knowledgeable Pali scholar who has completed many of the highest levels of Pali examinations, I hope you may have some insight into the Aṭṭhāna Jātaka. I am having difficulty with my nomination at Template:Did you know nominations/Aṭṭhāna Jātaka, especially regarding the in-universe hook fact, and I’m not sure how to resolve it.
I need to consult academic sources to find real-life analysis of this Jātaka, but it is very hard to find material in English. If you know any facts or interpretations from the books you studied in Pali school, please let me know. I have also heard that in Buddhist traditions, when monks or people want to decline something wisely, they recite this verse: “Ganggā kumudinī santā, saṅkhavaṇṇā ca kokilā / Jambū tālaphalaṃ dajjā, atha nūna tadā siyā.” But I need a reliable source to support the use of this verse for culture in such contexts for the DYK nomination. If you have time, please help me with this matter. Hteiktinhein (talk) 17:37, 28 November 2025 (UTC)
@Hteiktinhein, Thank you for remembering me. I just have some free time these days. Regarding the Aṭṭhāna Jātaka, I'm afraid I have no comments about the hook, but if you don't mind, I would like to introduce you to the Sutta Central website, which has an English translation from The Jataka V3: Or Stories of the Buddha's Former Births. For your information, Burmese Wikisource also has an article on this Jataka. They excerpted it from ပုံတော်စုံ ငါးရာငါးဆယ် ဇာတ်ဝတ္ထု (1995). For other books on the Jatakas, you can check here. You can also look at ငါးရာ့ငါးဆယ် ဇာတ်ပင်လယ် by Min Thu Wun, available here. About the Pali gāthā, I think it is not a traditional practice, but it became widespread on SNS when Nay Toe, starring as a monk in Clinging with Hate, recited this gāthā. Htanaungg (talk) 01:52, 29 November 2025 (UTC) Really hard to find Zzzz. Anyway, thanks @Htanaungg. By the way, when you nominated your articles for GA, which user did you ask to help with the copyedit? I want to try for GA too, but the copyediting part is a bit challenging for me. I don’t remember which user you requested before. Hteiktinhein (talk) 16:53, 30 November 2025 (UTC) @Hteiktinhein: I used to ask User:Wikignome Wintergreen, but they have been inactive for a long time. I am doing it by myself recently. Some suggestions for new articles
[edit]Hello, I came across your work on Myanmar through my review of your article about Ko Lay Inwa Gonyi. Since my first and only visit to your country in 2019, I have written and expanded some articles about Burmese culture for the English WP. My special interest is photography in Birma/Myanmar, as you can see in the section on Myanmar from my user page. - Maybe you or somebody you know are interested in translating some of these articles to Burmese? - Especially, I would like to draw your attention to the articles on historical photographers in late 19th-century Birma, such as Max Henry Ferrars. I found his and his wife's large work on Burmese ethnographic impressions and his photographs very interesting, and you can access it here. Another article I enjoyed researching and writing is about the Myanmar Photo Archive. - Best regards and keep up your good work, Munfarid1 (talk) 20:40, 30 November 2025 (UTC)

Coon Creek
[edit]Hello! I noticed you put a 'third party' page curation tag on the article Coon Creek (Mississippi River tributary). I'm just wondering, how is a source too closely connected with a body of water? I'm not clear what the concern is. If this was a mistake, I'll remove. If it wasn't, I can fix what is wrong with the article. Let me know! Minnastronomer (talk) 06:38, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
@Minnastronomer: Of course, a stream itself may not have a close connection with sources, but what I am looking for are sources other than government websites that discuss the management of the stream. Htanaungg (talk) 09:27, 14 December 2025 (UTC) Thank you for the clarification, that makes sense! Minnastronomer (talk) 09:47, 14 December 2025 (UTC)Message and review
[edit]Hi Htanaungg. I want to let you know that, finally, for the first time in my career in Wikipedia and in life, I created a Wikipedia article entirely myself, writing, sources, short description, templates everything are all done by me. I didn't use any tools, no ai machine or chatgpt written content. It's just skills and writing ethic. The article name is Draft:Director Ko Pauk, you may know him , he is a Burmese actor turned resistance movement revolutionary. When I wrote the article, I must say really enjoyed writing it. You should check it out and review it. KhantWiki (talk) 06:01, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
@KhantWiki: I'm glad to hear about your improvement. Just a soft suggestion: you should check some guides on copyediting and the Manual of Style (only if you haven't yet). These will help improve your writing here. (Of course, don’t forget about the sourcing too.) Htanaungg (talk) 08:31, 17 December 2025 (UTC)A cookie for you!

Article about Andrei Frost
[edit]Hello, @Htanaungg! I'm translating from Russian an article about Andrei Frost, a Soviet chemist. The original article is now included on the Russian Wikipedia. The submission is supported by independent sources: "Фрост Андрей Владимирович" [Andrei Frost]. Большая советская энциклопедия: [в 30 т.] (in Russian) (3rd ed.). М.: Советская энциклопеция. 1969 (from the Great Soviet Encyclopedia); Будрейко Е. Н., Жуков А. П. (2006). Профессора Университета Менделеева: XX век [Professors of Mendeleev University: The 20th Century] (in Russian). М.: РХТУ им. Д. И. Менделеева. pp. 638–639, 756. ISBN 5-7237-0513-X (from a book about famous professors at Mendeleev University, the ISBN number of the book is given); Пурмаль А.П. (2002). "Памяти профессора А.В.Фроста" [in Honor of Professor A.V. Frost]. Рус.Хим.Ж. (in Russian). 46 (5): 99-101; Ольденберг О., Фрост А.В. (1937). "Молекулярное поступательное движение, вращение и колебание при химической активации" [Molecular Translational Motion, Rotation, and Rocking During Chemical Activation]. Успехи химии (in Russian) (6): 690-695; Раковский А.В. (1937). "Молодой химик советской формации" [The Soviet System's Upcoming Chemist]. Успехи химии (in Russian). 46 (5): 99-101; Рудковский Д. М., Фрост А. В. (1937). "Синтез бензина из углеводородных газов" [The Production of Gasoline from Hydrocarbon Gases]. Успехи химии (in Russian). 48: 489 (articles concerning the scientist and his achievements). The original article in the Russian Wikipedia lists the same independent sources. I don't have additional sources in any language regarding this scientist. The topic is written from a neutral point of view in an encyclopedic manner. Studchemist11 (talk) 20:56, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
@Studchemist11: Thanks for your message and your work. Looking over the article, there are several sentences without any inline citations. I assume good faith regarding the Russian sources I can’t read, but the claims still need to be supported with those sources. If you can’t find a source for something, then please don’t include it in the article—it’s that simple. Also, please remember that being on another-language Wikipedia does not automatically make a topic notable enough for English Wikipedia. Notability criteria and article quality standards differ between projects. Htanaungg (talk) 08:19, 20 December 2025 (UTC) Thanks, @Htanaungg! For the article, I located more independent sources and incorporated them. Information that I couldn't locate sources for was also eliminated. Kindly review the updated version of the article and let me know if everything is correct. Studchemist11 (talk) 01:35, 21 December 2025 (UTC) @Studchemist11: I’ll pass this to another reviewer since we’re doing a backlog drive. Feel free to resubmit it for AfC. Thanks. DYK for Ko Lay Inwa Gonyi
[edit]On 14 January 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ko Lay Inwa Gonyi, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Burmese poet Ko Lay Inwa Gonyi, later a winner of the Lifetime Award for Myanmar Literature, was restricted from publishing for 45 years under the military government? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ko Lay Inwa Gonyi. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Ko Lay Inwa Gonyi), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.
