Removal of redlinks
[edit]Hello again. Looking at all your contributions since you joined us a few days ago, you do seem to be focussed almost entirely on removing WP:REDLINKS from film articles. Could you explain your rationale for this, please? If there's genuinely no likelihood that the subject would ever be deemed WP:NOTABLE, then that would be fine. But I'm not keen to see a newcomer removing such links wholesale from article upon article without there being a really good rationale. See WP:REDDEAL. A redlink can actually be a good way to encourage other users to create articles on that topic, assuming it would meet our criteria for notability, of course. Thanks, Nick Moyes (talk) 20:19, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
Oh Wow. I am very sorry Nick. I thought I was supposed to be doing that. I thought I was helping. I will try to fix. Table at dorsia (talk) 13:44, 26 November 2021 (UTC) I am trying, is there an undo button or something like that? I read there is an extension twinkle. Trying to figure this out for you. Table at dorsia (talk) 13:52, 26 November 2021 (UTC) I just saw the twinkle tag in the history. I will keep trying. Table at dorsia (talk) 13:53, 26 November 2021 (UTC) It seems like it is working with the rollback feature. I am running into issues with this though "Grabbing data of earlier revisions: No previous revision found. Perhaps Table at dorsia is the only contributor, or they have made more than 50 edits in a row." I will do all that I can then wait to hear back from you. Table at dorsia (talk) 14:03, 26 November 2021 (UTC) I was able to fix everything except for the 2005, where I get that error message. Question:- How do I fix that one?
- Are there more add on's that are helpful like that twinkle?
- Is there a general guide link, so I read to not make mistakes like that again?
- Is there a general guide link for how to communicate with people? Is it just post on my talk page, then I comment back on yours? Is there a direct message thing or?
Women in Red
[edit]Hi there, Table at dorsia, and welcome to Women in Red. I see you have created your first biography of an actress and look forward to many more. You seem to be gaining experience in editing but as a new contributor, you might find it useful to try The Wikipedia Adventure. In connection with women's biographies, you should also look through our Ten Simple Rules. You can find lots of redlists of actresses on our Redlist index. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 07:48, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
Hi @Ipigott. Thank you for that user tool Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Adventure. There were a couple simple things I was missing. So thank you for that. I definitely will get on some more articles for Women in Red. This is a lot of fun! Table at dorsia (talk) 16:02, 28 November 2021 (UTC) @Ipigott I did the Aimée-Olympe Desclée page. Please let me know what you think. There was a lot of digging, but I think it came out good. Table at dorsia (talk) 23:41, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Welcome to The Wikipedia Adventure!

Assistance with request edit proposals for article about actor Jamie Costa
[edit]Hi. I see you’re a member of the WikiProject Actors. I made a number of proposals to update the article about the actor Jamie Costa posted here Talk: Jamie Costa#Proposals for December 2022. I’m unable to do the edits since I have a personal connection to Costa. Could you possibly take a look at these edit suggestions? Thank you! EdwardPS19 (talk) 19:38, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
[edit]| Women in Red 8th Anniversary | |
| In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |

Hello, I'm Picard's Facepalm. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edits to Heat (1995 film) seemed less than neutral and have been edited. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, otherwise please ensure that your submissions to articles are free of adjective embellishments and color commentary. --Picard's Facepalm • Made It So Engage! • 15:40, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
