okay, what's going on in here? what's with the seemingly arbitrary redirect and move shenanigans? are you aware that a good handful of them are breaking something in at least one way? consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 14:11, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

sorry I was having a hard time creating new redirects that I preferred moving pages. ZNático (talk) 15:39, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Moving another page with it's history and attribution just to make your own redirect is not ok. Don't do it again. If your having trouble "creating new redirects" ask for help such at the Wikipedia:Teahouse. Regards KylieTastic (talk) 15:57, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] thanks ZNático (talk) 16:56, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] this also means "don't randomly move your user talk page to that of a mainspace redirect" consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 14:14, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] ok then. but this was related to Puny redirect so, I guessed that counts ZNático (talk) 14:23, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] it doesn't, because it's about your edits, not necessarily just the ones to that redirect. you also don't need to move the entire thing page to do it, and shouldn't move something to a talk page that's all but guaranteed to get deleted at rfd. if you want this discussion out of your talk page, you can do as wp:blanking says and just remove it from here. further disruptive moves can warrant warnings and potential admin action, so try to be more careful than not at all consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 14:30, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to a contentious topic Arab–Israeli conflict.

[edit]

Hi ZNático! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay.

I've noticed that you've expressed an interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Unfortunately, due to a history of conflict and disruptive editing it has been designated a contentious topic and is subject to some strict rules.

The rule that affects you most as a new or IP editor is the prohibition on making any edit related to the Arab–Israel conflict, which includes discussing articles on talk pages, unless you are logged into an account that is at least 30 days old and has made at least 500 edits.

This prohibition is broadly construed, so it includes edits such as adding the reaction of a public figure concerning the conflict to their article or noting the position of a company or organization as it relates to the conflict.

The exception to this rule is that you may request a specific change to an article on the talk page of that article or at this page. Please ensure that your requested edit complies with our neutral point of view and reliable sourcing policies, and if the edit is about a living person our policies on biographies of living people as well.

Any edits you make contrary to these rules are likely to be reverted, and repeated violations can lead to you being blocked from editing.
