Queen at Sea is an upcoming drama film written and directed by Lance Hammer. Starring Juliette Binoche, Tom Courtenay and Anna Calder-Marshall, it follows a middle-aged woman struggling with her mother's dementia.
The film will have its world premiere at the main competition of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival on 17 February 2026, where it was nominated for the Golden Bear.[1]

[edit]Follows a woman who is concerned for her aging mother, so she moves back to London with her teenage daughter.

Production
[edit]Principal photography for Queen at Sea began on 18 April 2023 in London, written and directed by Lance Hammer, and starring Juliette Binoche, Tom Courtenay, Anna Calder-Marshall, Steven Cree, Florence Hunt, and Cody Molko.[2][3] The Match Factory was handling sales for the film.[4]
