Hi there, i'm loved to be included in this wikiproject. it is about a typical Chinese percussion musical instrument.
Peer review of brass instrument articles
[edit]Would anyone be interested in having a look at some brass instrument articles I've been working on? I've nominated Euphonium for Good Article, and I'm working on baritone horn and tenor horn to go for GA as well, but I'd be interested if anyone has suggestions for improvements, particularly the coverage of US marching bands and drum & bugle corps; I've done my best with limited sources, but ultimately I'm not familiar with US band culture as I live in NZ which has a largely British band tradition. — Jon (talk) 22:07, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
WikiProject Pipe organ
[edit]Please note discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pipe organ#Should this become a taskforce of Musical Instruments? and input there from this WikiProject would be very helpful. Andrewa (talk) 04:59, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
Transposing istruments
[edit]I don't see any previous discussion of transposing instruments and how range should be included in the template: someone looking at French horn is likely to wonder what notes are actually playable unless they go to the Italian article. Cor anglais seems like it should be the model; clarinet gives written pitches only; double bass is decipherable but less explicit than piccolo. Sparafucil (talk) 22:19, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
