If you add a category, it must be supported by sourced content in the article (or in the redirected article). That is not the case in this edit about a character breaking the fourth wall. Which part of the the words "reliable source required" do you not understand? I'm not sure whether the problem is (1) lack of competence; (2) complete ignorance of WP:V and WP:RS (that is inexcusable after numerous warnings); (3) willful defiance about following Wikipedia policies, or some combination of those three. In any event, you've reach your limit of assuming good faith. You could be blocked right now. But I'm going to offer you an alternative that I hope you will take advantage of instead of losing your editing privileges. Go to WP:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area and get an experienced mentor help you avoid these pitfalls. If you don't, there's likely a block for you in the near future. Hey there! I hope you're having a good day. I was wondering if we could discuss the recent changes both of us have been making to Star Wars character pages regarding "First appearance." My approach has been to put the literal first appearance in the infobox—in many cases, the 1976 novelization of Star Wars—and then elaborate in the page's lead, stating that the character "first appeared" in both the novel and the film, because they were very tied together. However, I do not know if there is a WP guideline or policy that says how this should be done. I think it's a little confusing to have both the novel and film under the first appearance header in the infobox, but I see how it could make sense. What are your thoughts? Hey there, I notice you haven't replied yet. I have edited the pages Chewbacca, C-3PO and Darth Vader in a way that I think makes it clear that the 1976 novel was technically the first appearance, but since it is tied to the film, the 1977 film is also kind of the first appearance.
