Will you work together on Thai Boon Roong Twin Tower World Trade Center?

[edit]

Thai Boon Roong Twin Tower World Trade Center, yes it's a real skyscraper project in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia that will be 567 meters despite how dubious it sounds and it is a kind of a mystery on its own because there isn't much information about it along with it being in a coma state due to lack of money and they stopped it to wait so that the money will come in to have enough money to restart construction, which led to some misinformation about it being cancelled despite it not being cancelled at all, but i did found lots of stuff about it and i wrote my findings of mostly chinese but also khmer and english news articles, web pages and videos in the talk page and in the user talk page of Alalch E., the reason for saying this is because it would be too much for me to edit Thai Boon Roong Twin Tower World Trade Center because of how much stuff i found, so i ask you to help me, Komonzia and Alalch E. with it, what do you think about it? ~2025-43053-85 (talk) 21:21, 14 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Well I do not mind helping out, you don’t need to use all the sources, just a couple I’m depth and reliable ones, and then we can help, I suggest you create the page firstly, and write a little write up about it, then we can help. Happy editing! Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 08:54, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Actually, there are depth and reliable ones, also there already is a article about it, it's just that were talking about improving and expanding the article about it. ~2025-43053-85 (talk) 13:00, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Ah I see, well I’m that case improvements are much easier to do, I suggest you collect all the sources you want to use and then see where you can edit on the article, for example of the build height was changed you can change the number and cite a newer more recent source. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 15:15, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

BLPPROD

[edit]

Hi, are you aware of WP:BLPPROD? For articles like Rayan PSN which are BLPs with no sources in any form (external links do count as sources), it can be used and cannot be contested like a normal PROD until at least one reliable source is added. HurricaneZetaC 15:28, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Ah now I am aware, I’ve seen it before but I just blindly assumed a normal PROD would do the trick, thanks for the info and I’ll use that template in the future for any living person PROD. Thanks Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 15:32, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Draftify rules

[edit]

Hi KeyolTranslater, you draftified the article Golden Kids but according to WP:DRAFTNO: "Another editor is actively working on the article, e.g. there is an } notice or there have been constructive edits made within the last hour" the article should not have been draftified. Your move was less than 4 minutes after the most recent edit. Something you need to pay attention to as you're patrolling the new page feed.

Otherwise, welcome to the NPP team, happy to have new help! Bobby Cohn 🍁 (talk) 16:08, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Quick second thought, you might find the User:MPGuy2824/MoveToDraft script helpful. It lays out the rules of draftification for you as you are doing it, places the required AfC templates on the page, notifies the original author, and tags the redirects left behind for deletion automatically. Very helpful. Bobby Cohn 🍁 (talk) 16:12, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Ahh, sorry to come back again, I don't want you to think I'm harping on you. We are likely looking at the same spot in the queue. In general, the hour rule is best, see WP:NPPHOUR. Your } tag of Raja Surendra Pal Singh done here may have been too soon as well. Especially given that election to a national office is considered prima facie evidence of notability, per WP:NPOL: "Politicians and judges who have held international, national, or (for countries with federal or similar systems of government) state/province–wide office, or have been members of legislative bodies at those levels." Of course, you aren't wrong in saying that sources are absolutely required for those articles, but we need to make sure we aren't being too bitey to new articles or users. Bobby Cohn 🍁 (talk) 16:24, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Sorry, I thought that incomplete pages should be draftified to prevent their deletion (Eg. In the case of Golden Kids which I thought it would be better if te user had it as a draft to work on it at their own pace without the threat of deletion, and without an incomplete page being in main space), and also apologies for not knowing the One Hour rule (so many rules to remember 😅), I’m truly sorry and it won’t happen again. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 16:37, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] No worries, at the end of the day, these mistakes aren't the end of the world. We all started somewhere, and the best way to learn is by doing. Heck, I'm pretty sure there's a similar message on my talk about something I got wrong this week. But as long as you're polite and open to feedback, that's the best recipe for success on Wikipedia. Bobby Cohn 🍁 (talk) 23:22, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Thanks Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 09:55, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] That's a lot of good advice from Bobby Cohn. I designed the UI for the Move to Draft script. If you need any further clarifications on its use or on the essential tutorial at WP:NPP, don't hesitate to drop me a line on my talk page. I wrote most of it and I also initiated the development of Page Curation (the software that runs NPP). Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 19:49, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Thanks, will do if I need some assistance. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 10:55, 22 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi KeyolTranslater. Thank you for your work on Frank Mitchell (Tank Commander). Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thank you for your work on this article. Please add footnotes to back up each claim with a reliable source. Please also establish notability as per WP:BIO. Thanks and have a great day!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Mariamnei}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Mariamnei (talk) 14:27, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, will do, unfortunately I can’t find much about his exact birth and death dates unfortunately, more information is on his military career and his book. (Like with most historic figures, whose birth and early life is forgotten in the annals of history). Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 15:11, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas McElderry page.

[edit]

Hey I saw you reviewed the Page i've been working on. I heeded your advice and took out a source and added some more. It uses lots of primary sources from the 1800s aswell as letters, muster rolls, and government archive documents. Let me know if I can do anything else. Thank you Henryalley1 (talk) 13:52, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Primary sources aren’t the greatest, we usually like secondary sources (what other people have written about the individual) although you can use them just be wary and don’t only use primary, it’s better to use more secondary ones (essays, news articles, books etc.) Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 15:30, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply] I have some secondary's as well, does it look good enough or should I add more sources? Everything I have so far pretains to the information I have down. Henryalley1 (talk) 16:05, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply] I’ll look over it it soon although it would be even better if the secondary sources are in depth about the individual (I haven’t checked them yet so I don’t know whether they are in depth or not). If you find any sources feel free to add them Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 16:40, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply] I added some more secondary sources. The page has 19 sources now. Primary and secondary. Henryalley1 (talk) 17:12, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply] That’s great, when I have time I’ll look over it (or if another reviewer sees it first) and I’ll (or the other reviewer) will decline or accept it. Hopefully it gets accepted for you. Have a great day Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 17:56, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply] Thank you Henryalley1 (talk) 18:58, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Need further guidance

[edit]

Thank you for your review. Your recent feedback accompanying your decline simply said, "Wikipedia can’t be used as a source so I suggest you remove those ones and replace them." I'm quite new to editing and publishing on Wikipedia so I apologize if the answer to my question is something I should be able to address on my own. My question... I can't determine what you were referring to with your words "those ones". This seems to be a new concern unrelated to your first review so I assume it has to do with my most recent edits. Please clarify or help me know where you might have already clarified in a way that I didn't notice. IntrepidWanderer (talk) 05:48, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

An apologies if I was a bit “unexplained” when you are in the process of reviewing pages a lot of the time you can put simplistic answers which don’t always help, so sorry for that. What I meant was that your sources Including Wikipedia can’t be used (Wikipedia articles can’t be sourced by other pages, it’s a rule we have and it does have a proper name but I’ve forgotten it 😅), anyway what that means is that you can replace them, but if you want to put wikilinks in the article you certainly can (which I see you’ve already done). So sources 5, 9, 10, 11 are all Wikipedia sources which can’t be used, however if you want you can go and take sources from those pages (which probably have sources which can help your article). Which would be great. Hope I’ve clarified! Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a (talk) 09:09, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
