Information icon Hello, I'm Knitsey. I noticed that you recently removed content from Sargun Kaur Luthra without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Kanika Dhillon, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. bojo | talk 14:51, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Candidly ish. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Divya Khosla Kumar, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Candidly ish. The template } can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Candidly ish|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Charlie (talk) 18:24, 22 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Candidly ish. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Divya Khosla Kumar, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. CNMall41 (talk) 22:22, 25 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning

[edit]

You have been asked a number of times to explain your relationship with Divya Khosla Kumar and the edits you have done there. Claiming that you are performing changes approved or requested by the subject does not give your edits added authority or leeway to not cite reliable sources. Quite the opposite, they indicate that you have a conflict of interest and your edits should be thoroughly vetted.

Continued editing in this manner, while not disclosing your association with her, will simply be reverted and may result in your account being blocked as disruptive. Please read what the above says about conflict of interests. Escape Orbit (Talk) 11:01, 8 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

to help you clear your doubt I can show you the agreement for your reference to sort the communication we can also take this conversation further over email to more clarity. Final Warning

[edit]

You have been warned numerous times about undisclosed paid editing, which you admitted to, but have yet to make the proper disclosure and still decide to edit the page of your client at Divya Khosla Kumar. If you continue to edit without disclosure, it will need to be reported to the appropriate noticeboard where you will likely be blocked from editing. CNMall41 (talk) 23:15, 17 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Will it be okay if I share the relevant links Here and you make the necessary changes because I am attaching the links and then also it going back to the original page. so that's also not correct. As I mentioned the page changes are requested by the artist herself and I have been putting relevant proofs too but still it is going back to the original. I Would request you to let the changes appear on the page attaching relevant links for it Savi trending on Netflix point added by me ref https://www.bollywoodshaadis.com/articles/divya-khossla-dropped-kumar-from-her-name-for-a-better-career-and-her-film-savi-is-now-trending-55041 then her recent release Ek Chatur Naar loved by the audience and trending on Netflix you can check Netflix past records. no article that I can find at the moment on that. there were media articles on the love for chatur naar which I tried to add I can attach those links too and she was trending on no. 1 on imdb as the most popular celeb as per fans searches -= that was removed attaching the relevant link https://www.instagram.com/p/DRhX-CWDHMr/?igsh=MXdueGd2enRueGljaQ%3D%3D Candidly ish (talk) 07:31, 22 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For an unblock to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Administrators: if this block includes a Volunteer Response Team ticket number, this block was placed as part of the conflict of interest VRT queue and the user must not be unblocked without the express consent of a user with access to the queue.

Request reason:

I have been giving relevant links but just understood how to do the paid editing declaration. Please allow me to have my page back I need to make important edits to the page Candidly ish (talk) 9:45 am, Today (UTC−6)

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you:
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 16:10, 4 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the } template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You say "I need to make important edits to the page." No, you don't. You are a paid editor with a conflict of interest. Therefore, you don't make edits to the page AT ALL. You don't manage the article on Wikipedia. Nobody manages any article here. The only edits you could make are minor corrections to spelling, grammar, and typos. You can also add citations to reliable sources that are independent of the subject. You can use WP:Edit Request Wizard to propose anything more substantive on the talk page. There is no way you can be unblocked until you can convince an administrator that you understand what you can and cannot do. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 17:38, 4 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
