[edit]

Information icon Hi AE182! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Nader Shah's Dagestan campaign several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Nader Shah's Dagestan campaign, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 19:41, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi AE182. Thank you for your work on Siege of Kayseri (1651). Another editor, Mrfoogles, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

I think the link for the Zengin source is broken.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Mrfoogles}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@Mrfoogles: fixed it, thanks for telling me AE182 (talk) 16:09, 28 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Blank lines and paragraph break

[edit]

I noticed that in articles you created you have not put blank lines before headings, which is conventional source style, and also you have no paragraph breaks, perhaps because you don't know that in Wiki markup a blank line is the way to make a paragraph break. Or did you intend for each section to have only one paragraph? Dicklyon (talk) 00:11, 5 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i didnt know about the blank lines rule before headings and between paragraphs while making my articles I will try to use better formatting next time. Should I fix the formatting in the articles I already made? AE182 (talk) 14:43, 5 May 2025 (UTC)[reply] Yes, if you intend paragraph breaks, go in and add line breaks. Dicklyon (talk) 05:32, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Adana campaign, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Uzbek. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Notice

The article Operation Herof 2.0 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Every source is either from Twitter accounts, unreliable Indian news agencies (many of them amplifying Twitter posts), or does not mention "Operation Herof 2.0".

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Request

[edit]

If I give you page ideas, can you create the pages? NEMURO (talk) 07:21, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, but it depends on the page, because sometimes a page might not be notable enough to have its own article AE182 (talk) 09:58, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] No problem, could you create a page like "Arab-Armenian Wars"? NEMURO (talk) 10:09, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Yeah, I can do that AE182 (talk) 10:12, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Thank you. I have one more request: could you create a page like “Dersim rebellions 1877–1938”? It already exists on Turkish Wikipedia — at least NEMURO (talk) 14:21, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Modern Middle Eastern history isnt really my area of interest, and right now im focused on expanding pages about Circassian history, so it would be better if you asked someone else. AE182 (talk) 16:23, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Oh okay, could you create pages for wars between circassians and cossacks if they exist, not from the 19th century but from earlier periods NEMURO (talk) 16:30, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] I dont think any conflict happened between them before the Russo–Circassian war AE182 (talk) 16:35, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] well ok has there been a war between Circassians and Chechens? Could you check? NEMURO (talk) 16:38, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Daryal war and Kabardian Invasion of Chechnya (1720) already exist, i couldnt find any other conflict between two AE182 (talk) 17:43, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] well then Could you create articles about Circassian–Georgian wars? NEMURO (talk) 17:47, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Thanks for the idea, i can do that after finishing articles im planning on expanding AE182 (talk) 17:48, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] No Problem NEMURO (talk) 18:19, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] If I give you the sources for now, can you create a page for me? NEMURO (talk) 06:46, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] What will the page be about? AE182 (talk) 08:42, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Spanish-Japanese conflicts NEMURO (talk) 09:29, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] or Circassian raids (not Agaisnt crimeans) NEMURO (talk) 09:55, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Spanish-Japanese conflicts would be a Wikipedia:Content forks of Japan–Spain relations#History and Circassian raids would already be covered in Crimean–Circassian wars and Circassian–Georgian wars AE182 (talk) 10:00, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] youre right NEMURO (talk) 12:30, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] well can you open page about siege of perekop 1771 its important but doesnt have page NEMURO (talk) 12:46, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Do you have any source that describes the course of the siege? AE182 (talk) 13:34, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Actually, you can just type it into Google and it will show up. because it is a known fact NEMURO (talk) 14:54, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] I found some sources maybe I will consider creating it once my current plans are finished AE182 (talk) 16:00, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Hey @AE182, regarding your "Arab–Armenian wars" article,If you read what I said here, you may understand why it is not useful to have another article that talks about events that are already described (shortly) in 2 different articles. Considering all of this information, You may either write them in Arminiya or Islam in Armenia (history sections), but try to make some of the information shorter. And I also wanted to say.. if you're interested in the topic of the Armenian rebellions during the caliphates, you can create pages about these Armenian rebellions or battles that don't have their own. or you may expand this article "Hamdanid Campaigns in Armenia (935-966)" it's poorly written and I was thinking of expanding it but I actually got no time to do this. You can check the references for sources about the Hamdanid raids in Armenia (since you haven't even mentioned their raids or campaigns in Arab–Armenian wars) best regards. R3YBOl (🌲) 22:09, 28 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] Thank you for creating the Circassian–Georgian Wars page. Could you open a page like Kalmyk–Circassian Wars? NEMURO (talk) 08:30, 8 February 2026 (UTC)[reply] Could you create a page about the Avar-Circassian wars? NEMURO (talk) 15:17, 16 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
