Hello there. I started editing Wikipedia as an anon in February 2008, and I opened this account the following month. My specialty on Wikipedia is improving sport-related articles, and you can often find me editing pages on my favorite teams and players. Most of my edits are small formatting fixes, including improved reference formatting and Manual of Style compliance. You might know me from my history at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates, where I once attempted to review all articles on sports that came along. I haven't been as active there lately, but still have an occasional review or two in me. I like to think that my reviews have helped raise the level of recently promoted sports featured articles.
Featured list candidates is another place where you can find me. After pushing some lists to featured status, I became a director of the featured list process in early 2011. I frequently close candidates, and am responsible for choosing lists that appear in the Today's featured list section of the Main Page. My skill in writing original prose was not great at first, but has improved over time. I've started numerous articles, some of which have appeared in the Did you know section on the Main Page. A few articles I've written have reached good article status, and I was even able to get a couple to become featured. I also have a (little-used) account on Wikimedia Commons, which can be found here, and clean up vandalism on Wikidata when I spot it in articles on my watchlist. The Featured Sound Main Page Proposal Voter Barnstar

| I was truly humbled by the overwhelming community support for the recent proposal to place featured sounds on the main page. The proposal closed on Tuesday with 57 people in support and only 2 in opposition.
It should take a few weeks for everything to get coded and tested, and once that is done the community will be presented with a mock up to assess on aesthetic appeal.
Finally, I invite all of you to participate in the featured sounds process itself. Whether you're a performer, an uploader, or just come across a sound file you find top quality, and that meets the featured sound criteria, you can nominate it at Wikipedia:Featured sound candidates. Featured sounds is also looking for people to help assess candidates (also at Wikipedia:Featured sound candidates.)

Please accept a belated thank you for the well wishes upon my retirement as FAC delegate this year, and apologies for the false alarm of my first—and hopefully last—retirement; the well wishes extended me were most kind, but I decided to return, re-committed, when another blocked sock was revealed as one of the factors aggravating the FA pages this year. Maintaining standards in featured content requires vigilance, dedication and knowledge of people like you, who are needed; thanks for all you do in here! Somehow, somehow we never ever seem to do nothin' completely nice and easy, but here's hoping that 2013 will see a peaceful road ahead and a return to the quality and comaraderie that defines the FA process, with the help of many dedicated Wikipedians!
