Todd Edward Liebenstein (born January 9, 1960) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL) from 1982 to 1985.[1][2][3] He played college football for the UNLV Rebels.[3] He was a starter in Super Bowl XVIII.[citation needed]


After his football career, Liebenstein became a history teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools. Over the next 30 years he instructed students at South Lakes High School [citation needed] and Herndon High School[4] until his retirement on May 11, 2022.[5]
