The citation for "Uluru from All Angles: The Modern Controversy of Climbing the Sacred" by Lucy Gamble is dead but has an archived copy available; I chose the last Internet Archive snapshot I could find. (Wordpress says "This site has been archived or suspended.", and it must be suspended, as site:sites.coloradocollege.edu Uluru turns up nothing.)

I suggest changing the word "outcrop" in the second sentence of this article to either "crops out" or replacing it with "is". This would look like "It crops out near the centre of Australia..." or "It is near the centre of Australia...". Outcrop is generally a noun, and here it is a verb. Although technically correct, most geologists would not use the word "outcrop" this way. Wikitofly (talk) 15:10, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done Thanks! I've changed it to "It [[outcrop|crops out]] near the centre of Australia" → It crops out near the centre of Australia. Skynxnex (talk) 23:02, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest changing the line "An agreement originally made between the community and Prime Minister Bob Hawke that the climb to the top by tourists would be stopped was later[when?] broken." to "An agreement originally made in 1983 between the community and Prime Minister Bob Hawke that the climb to the top by tourists would be stopped was later broken." My source for this date is https://www.9news.com.au/national/uluru-northern-territory-elders-reflect-closing-uluru-climb-battle/ ~2026-28389-3 (talk) 03:06, 30 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: The link provided gives a 404. Even if the date was included, the date at the end of the sentence is still vague, and shouldn't have the } template deleted per WP:PRECISELANG. Umby 🌕🐶 (talk) 03:15, 30 January 2026 (UTC)[reply] I found another link for this article, but it fails to verify the 1983 claim. Umby 🌕🐶 (talk) 03:18, 30 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
