Talk:Lahore Qalandars

Split proposed

[edit]

OK, so the 2017 section is now becoming quite large. There's far too much detail in there for this article. I'd like to suggest that the people who are most interested in this (i.e. not me initially!) take this content and create the Lahore Qalandars in 2017 article (currently a redirect) and then edit the section in this article down in the same way as the 2016 section above. If the league continues for a number of seasons we'll end up with way too much detail stuck in an article such as this and have to trawl through far too many pages.

At the end of the season, once things have calmed down a bit, I'll go through every article again and copy edit them for written English - as a native speaker that's much easier for me to do - and, if necessary, trim things from the section to move to that article, but I'd be obliged if those of you editing the article could consider moving the content to that article.

Take this as a suggestion for the other five teams as well please. Thanks Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:08, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Lahore Qalandars

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Lahore Qalandars's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 06:32, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
