I propose merging Hindutva boycott of Hindi cinema into Hindi cinema. I think the content in Hindutva boycott of Hindi cinema can easily be explained in the context of this article, and merging them would not cause any article-size or weighting problems. Further comment: this main article currently lacks any criticism topics and povs (except plagiarism, which i think can be covered under a general criticism subtopic too). So merging Hindutva boycott of Hindi cinema into this should be a good start point. Dagoofybloke (talk?) 19:34, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply] I'm not opposed to mentioning the boycotts in the main article, but it's a pretty small aspect of Hindi cinema and I don't know how much actually needs to be included. We definitely should not be treating negative content as a goal and need to be careful not to add any more than what's prominent in sources about Hindi cinema.
