"Next Plane Out" is a song by Canadian singer Celine Dion from her third English-language album, The Colour of My Love (1993). It was written by Diane Warren and produced by Guy Roche. Epic Records released it as the album's final single in Australia on 9 October 1995.

Critical reception

Pip Ellwood-Hughes from Entertainment Focus called the song "gorgeous", adding that it "is a vocal masterclass that makes you realise just what an incredible singer Dion is".[1] Christopher Smith from TalkAboutPopMusic described "Next Plane Out" as a ballad "which takes some time to 'get off the ground'".[2]

Commercial performance

The single reached number 61 on the Australian ARIA singles chart,[3] and spent seven weeks in the top 100.[4]

Music video

The music video for "Next Plane Out" was directed by Greg Masuak. In an edited version, it was also used as a music video for the "Je sais pas" single, which was released in the Francophone countries at the same time. In 1997, a third edited version was used for the "Call the Man" European single.
