Majid Khademi (Persian: مجید خادمی) is a Brigadier General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who is simultaneously serving as the head of the Intelligence Protection Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, since 2022 and 2025 respectively.

On 19 June 2025, Khademi was appointed as the new head of its intelligence division. He replaced Mohammad Kazemi, who was killed along with other Revolutionary Guards officers from Israeli airstrikes on 15 June during the Iran-Israel war.[1][2]

Biography

Following the establishment of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Majid Khademi was mentioned in some reports as a potential successor to Hossein Taeb, who headed the organization at the time, a role with which Khademi was associated until at least 2014.

In May 2018, he was appointed head of the Information Protection Organization of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support [fa], replacing Asghar Mirjafari [fa],[3][4][5] and served in this position until 2022. His appointment as head of the Intelligence Protection Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was first reported by Iranian media on 26 June 2022,[3][6] and his induction ceremony was held on 29 July 2022. Khademi holds a PhD in National Security and a PhD in Strategic Defense Sciences.[7]

Majid Khademi has appeared in media reports under both the names Majid Khademi and Majid Hosseini. His exact legal name has not been publicly clarified.[3]
