Hubstaff is a worker surveillance software vendor.[1] The software is rated 2.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot.[2]

In April 2020, an article was published by The Wall Street Journal, discussing employee discomfort when their employers adopted Hubstaff's software.[3] NPR reported on how use of Hubstaff "destroyed morale" at a company which implemented it.[1]

In 2025, the software was reportedly implemented by xAI to surveil workers training its Grok chatbot, including on personal devices.[4]
