Elie Najib Daher (born March 26, 1963) is a Lebanese-Canadian business executive, author, executive coach, and TEDx speaker. He is the President of the Association of Corporate Executive Coaches (ACEC)[1] and serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at United Safety.[2] Daher is the author of two books on leadership and personal branding, both featuring forewords by Marshall Goldsmith.[3][4]
In the mid-1990s, Daher founded Futurekids Lebanon, bringing the first international computer education franchise to Lebanon following the country's civil war.[5][6]
Early life and education
[edit]Daher was born in Lebanon on March 26, 1963. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Beyrouth (ESIB) in Lebanon in 1985, graduating first in his class. He later obtained a Master of Business Administration (1998–2000) and a Doctor of Business Administration (2003–2007), both with High Distinction from Southern Cross University in Australia.[7] He completed executive education programs at INSEAD and IMD Business School.[2]
Career
[edit]Futurekids Lebanon (1995–1997)
[edit]In 1995, Daher founded Futurekids Lebanon as regional franchiser, establishing the first international computer education franchise in post-civil war Lebanon.[5] In 1997, Daher organized the "Planet Care – Planet Repair" interscholar environmental competition in partnership with the UNDP-LIFE program, involving approximately 10,000 children from 30 schools.[8]
Schlumberger (1985–2011)
[edit]Daher spent 27 years at Schlumberger, holding positions across 12 countries. He served as Vice President of Marketing for Schlumberger Information Solutions (SIS). From 2010 to 2011, he was Chief Executive Officer of NExT, a joint venture between Schlumberger and three universities focused on professional development for the oil and gas industry.[2]
United Safety (2011–present)
[edit]Since 2011, Daher has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at United Safety, based in Dubai.[2] He has published technical papers on hydrogen sulfide safety through the Society of Petroleum Engineers.[9]

[edit]Daher serves as President of the Association of Corporate Executive Coaches (ACEC)[1] and is a founding board member of Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching – Middle East. He is a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and serves on advisory boards at the American University in Dubai.[7]
