Claire Rosinkranz (born January 2, 2004) is an American singer-songwriter from California. After releasing her music on social media, Rosinkranz was signed to Republic Records at the age of 16. She had her breakthrough in 2020 with her single "Backyard Boy" from her debut extended play, Beverly Hills Boyfriend, later releasing her debut studio album, Just Because, in 2023. She released her second studio album, My Lover, in February 2026.
Biography
[edit]Rosinkranz's father is Icelandic composer and musician Ragnar Rósinkranz.[3] She has been making music since she was eight years old.[4] Rosinkranz used to help her father with ideas for songs he was writing for various television shows and commercials.[5] Rosinkranz came to wide recognition when her song "Backyard Boy" went viral on the video-sharing app TikTok.[4][6] Rosinkranz's first extended play (EP) was released in 2020, titled Beverly Hills Boyfriend.[5] Rosinkranz released her second EP, 6 of a Billion, in 2021.[7] On October 6, 2023, she released her debut album, Just Because.[8] On October 6, 2025, she performed at her first arena concert at PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona as an opening act for Maroon 5's Love Is Like Tour.[9] On February 13, 2026, her second studio album, My Lover, was released.[10] The album featured the single "Chronic", in which she wrote about her experiences with chronic illness. In promotion of the album, she is set to embark on a North American tour throughout 2026.[10]
