Benson Luk Hon-man (Chinese: 陸瀚民) is a Hong Kong businessman and politician who is a former member of the Legislative Council for the Election Committee constituency which was newly created under the electoral overhaul imposed by Beijing.
In December 2021, Luk was elected as Legislative Councilor with 1,059 votes.[1]
On 5 January 2022, Carrie Lam announced new warnings and restrictions against social gathering due to potential COVID-19 outbreaks.[2] One day later, it was discovered that Luk attended a birthday party hosted by Witman Hung Wai-man, with 222 guests.[3][4][5] At least one guest tested positive with COVID-19, causing many guests to be quarantined.[5]
In June 2023, Luk defended legislation that would give lawmakers a summer break, and said that the media should refer to it as an "adjournment of LegCo meetings."[6]
Luk stood down in 2025 after choosing not to seek another term in October 2025.
