Armungia ((Sardinian: Armùngia) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari in the region of Sardinia in Italy, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Cagliari. It has a population of 399.[2]
Armungia borders the following municipalities: Ballao, San Nicolò Gerrei, Villaputzu, Villasalto.
Demographics
[edit]As of 2025, Armungia has a population of 399, of which 53.1% are male and 46.9% are female, compared to the national average of 49.0% and 51.0% respectively. Minors make up 8.0% of the population, and seniors make up 37.8%, compared to the national average of 14.9% and 24.7% respectively.[2]

Immigration
[edit]As of 2025, the foreign-born population is 20, making up 5.0% of the total population. The foreign nationalities are Germans (5), French (4), Spaniards (3), Brazilians (2), Poles (2), Romanians (2), Swiss (1) and a Tunisian (1).[5]
