DEFENCE SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES

Initially founded in the 1980s as a medical facility for ANC exiles, transitioned to a military health training institute in the early 2000s. Accredited by the General Nursing Council of Zambia and Health Professions Council of Zambia, with programs attracting military personnel and civilians since 2018. It’s a respected institution praised for high academic performance: e.g., 84% pass rate and top rankings in Lusaka Province, with foreign military participants invited from SADC countries. Undergoes expansion with a new Twin Palm campus in Lusaka and planned upgrade to full University College status.
